Carlos Calvo is the definition of a salesman. His interpersonal skills and experience dealing with large accounts make him a close and reliable person, able to lead the most complex sales processes.
After graduating in Computer Science at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Carlos started his career working in various financial institutions, such as Operadora de Bolsa, CBI Casa de la Bolsa (Trading Houses), and Banca Serafin, which was eventually acquired by Banco Santander. Due to his consistent progression, he has had the opportunity to experience the modernization of the sector from numerous perspectives. Since becoming Systems Programmer at the beginning of his career, he progressed to Electronic Banking Director.
In 1997 he joined IBM, where he stayed until 2013. Due to his previous experience in the financial sector, he was hired as Industry Specialist for Banking and Insurance. He soon started deploying client-oriented roles, becoming Account Manager for medium business and Territory Manager. He took the lead of two of the biggest accounts, Telmex and Bancomer, and guided them to become in the most satisfied clients of the company.
Due to his unprecedented sales skills and his experience, Carlos joined NTT in 2013 as Client Manager for the Financial Sector, promoting afterwards to Sales Director. Among his achievements were bringing back the Mexican Stock Exchange, a former customer, and closing a big deal with KIO Networks, which became the largest services customer of the company.
In 2020 Carlos joined LOVIS Spain as the Commercial Director, assisting in the international expansion of the company and its landing in Spain. Based in Madrid, Carlos leads the sales team and is in charge of the sales processes and of building professional relationships with customers and business partners.
